Fruits and vegetable crops are an important source of calories and nutrition for all human beings, and millions of small farmers produce these foods all over the world. Yet up to 50% of these perishable crops are lost between harvest on the farm and the time of consumption, due to rough handling, lack of access to improved packages, cooling or storage, and limited processing and/or transport options.

Amity Postharvest E-Learning website launch

Our postharvest e-learning participants will soon receive an email with the log-in information needed for accessing the Amity University Postharvest E-Learning website and the course materials for Assignment #3.  Please be patient, as we are just now getting all the many training materials uploaded.  In the meantime, a copy of the training materials is on its way to each of you via a package sent in the mail.
